Jamal Asif - ACA

Jamal Asif is an energetic Chartered Accountant with a track record of striving for excellence. He is an experienced audit consultant with internal and external perspective, with first-hand exposure to internal controls design, implementation, and self-sustained monitoring, risk identification and minimization, inefficiency bracketing, cost-benefit analysis, and governance.

Jamal earned his Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) degree from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan, and his Bachelor's degree, majoring in Mathematics, Statistics, and Economics from the University of the Punjab, Lahore. He is also certified as a QuickBooks Certified Pro Advisor, Gusto Payroll Certified, and a Karbon Certified Expert.

 

As a Manager at Janke LLP Jamal is responsible for tax planning, tax filings and correspondence with tax authorities, ERP/accounting software consultancy and implementations, compilation and review engagements, feasibility and budget preparations, corporate structuring and analysis, and the management of the diverse portfolios of his clients.

 

Jamal is also the Group Chief Financial Officer at MyTM, where he was part of the team that raised 6.9 million dollars from investors in Canada, Saudi Arabia, Japan and Mauritius and he helped develop the finance teams and processes from inception of the group. Jamal has been an integral and invested team member.

 

In his previous roles, Jamal served as the Financial Controller at United Industries Limited (UIL), Senior Finance Manager at Masood Textile Mills Limited, and Head of Internal Audit at Kohinoor Mills Limited. He also worked as a Manager Audit & Assurance at MGI Worldwide and Supervisory Senior Audit & Assurance at KPMG.
