A Bit About Chantal

Chantal Veenstra started with our team September 2022 and  is an experienced administrative professional. Skilled in facilitating, scheduling, data entry, and social media management and advertising, she is a natural multitasker and excels in fast-paced environments. She has a strong understanding of computer and technology programs, a drive to keep learning and is able to work efficiently and effectively in a variety of roles. 

Prior to working with our team at Janke, Chantal was a contracted facilitator for Little Village Playgroups and a seasoned owner/operator of a private dayhome.  As a facilitator for playgroups, she worked with children ages 0-6 and their parents to encourage age-based play, and interactions, based in Triple P Parenting education for families. In her dayhome role, she managed all the daily responsibilities of running a 24/7 dayhome, putting parents and children's relationships at the forefront of her availability and flexibility. Later inspiring her to open a dayhome cohort between 4 private dayhomes allowing for more flexibility for all parties involved.

Before her work in child care, Chantal worked as an administrative assistant at an Emergency Oilfield Services company, where she assisted in managing admin duties as front end receptionist, the data entry workroom and emergency services calls. She also used her education working as an esthetician and reflexologist working in small salon. 

Chantal is also a dedicated mother. In her spare time she spends time loving on her plants, dogs, cat, kids and husband. She has a passion for creating new things from old things,  painting and creating digital art and dreaming up ways of making a better world for her children.
